Naturally, forces like the urban fabric and nature spread onto each other, trying to overpower the existence of the other. The UDB establishes a clear boundary between the two fields, but is unfortunately broken by the more overpowering urban force. Over time, both forces continue to interweave, and continue breaking and altering the boundary. Considering only 25 percent of the original everglades exists today, displays that the urban fabric is the dominating force. Thus showing this idea of transition in South Florida.
