Qualitative Measures_EcoTransition
The Urban Development Boundary has managed to changed South Florida's ecosystems through time, thus a string transition is felt when traveling on a west-east axis. To the west, the ecosystems created by the geomorphology of water flow in the Everglades. To the east, the urban fabric created by the Cartesian grid of urban sprawl.
