the many layers suggested in kapoor's words and your diagram, have multiple parallels in terms of how our project site (technically located at miami's urban edge) belies a much more complex set of relationships than a simple line drawn in a map (like the urban development boundary-UDB) suggests. how can this complexity of layers and transitions be used in framing the goal of the project, which is to create a landscape that explores the nature and extent of human interaction with the earth's surface in the south florida region?
